Your firm signs off on the final deliverable to your client. Valuion produces the analytical output and provides a methodology sign-off letter certifying the sources and standards used. Your firm reviews, applies judgment, adds commentary, and takes professional responsibility for the final report as it goes to your client. This is no different from how firms use any analytical software.
No. It replaces the manual-labour portion of building a valuation from a blank spreadsheet. Your expertise goes into the judgment layer: arguing with industry classification, interrogating normalising adjustments, contextualising the result for a specific client situation, deciding when the Valuion output needs to be replaced by full bespoke work. For most owner-managed SMB work, the judgment layer is where the value is; the spreadsheet labour is a cost centre. We take out the cost centre.
Upload your firm’s logo, brand colours, and disclaimer text once. Every report your firm generates uses that branding on the cover, headers, footers, and throughout. The client sees “prepared by your firm”; Valuion’s name appears only in the methodology appendix and in the sign-off letter if the client requests it.
Email your account lead with the industry detail. In most cases we’ll identify the best-fit Damodaran classification and run the valuation under that. For a small number of truly specialised industries (regulated financial institutions, minerals extraction, biotech pre-revenue), Valuion isn’t the right tool and we’ll say so up front.
